💡 Study Tips
Master the unit circle. Many trig questions require exact values that come from memorizing it.
Practice each type of transformation individually before combining multiple transformations.
Do as many practice problems as possible, repetition and pattern recognition is very beneficial for math.
Check your work using your graphing calculator, but know how to solve algebraically too.
For written response, show all work clearly and logically. Never leave a response blank, you can still get partial marks
Create organized formula sheets by unit and review them regularly in the weeks before the exam.
⚡ Tips & Tricks
For numerical response, check whether the question wants an exact value or a rounded decimal.
If your stuck on a question, skip it and come back later. Aim to not spend more than 3 minutes on one MC question.
Always state non-permissible values in rational expression questions
Trig equations: remember to find ALL solutions in the given domain, not just the principal value.
Written response: define variables, show each step, and write a concluding statement.
📊 Mark Weighting
